BCSN was honored to participate in this vibrant and inspiring celebration of breast cancer education, healing, and hope. The event began outdoors with a unifying community drum circle led by Zakh Peterson from Pure Rock Studios, bringing participants together in rhythm and healing.

We extend special thanks to Mayor Kim Norton for officially proclaiming Let’s Beat Breast Cancer Week in Rochester — a meaningful recognition of the city’s commitment to community wellness.

Inside 125 LIVE, attendees enjoyed delicious, cancer-fighting food samples prepared by Mei Liu and her team, followed by welcoming remarks from Dr. Lai of Rochester Clinic. The program featured a powerful recorded message, “Food is Medicine,” by Dr. Kristi Funk, and an engaging Q&A with Lisa Ellsworth from the Mayo Clinic Survivorship Clinic.

We are deeply grateful to the event sponsor, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), and to The Lotus Health Foundation for including BCSN in this wonderful community event. Thanks also to Art Meyer and the Rochester SDA Church for providing online participation to our 600+ BCSN Survivors.

Rochesterfest at Soldiers Field Park — June 2025

BCSN was proud to participate in Rochesterfest this year at Soldiers Field Park! It was such a joy to meet members of the Rochester community and share more about the Breast Cancer Support Network (BCSN).

Our dedicated breast cancer mentors were on-site, spreading awareness about our mission and the free programs we offer to support breast cancer survivors. We loved connecting with so many individuals and families, and we’re grateful for the warm community welcome.

Together, we continue to build a circle of support, hope, and empowerment for breast cancer survivors across our region.
