We are a volunteer-led community of breast cancer survivors who understand the physical and emotional challenges of a diagnosis. Our services include a weekly virtual non-metastatic support group, a monthly virtual metastatic support group, and one-on-one survivor connections offering compassion, guidance, and shared experience.
Founded in Rochester, Minnesota, the Breast Cancer Support Network provides virtual support to individuals everywhere.
Breast Cancer Support Network is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

All of our mentors have walked the path you’re on. They understand the challenges, questions, and emotions that come with a breast cancer diagnosis. We’re here to listen, offer support, and guide you through diagnosis, treatment, and beyond.

If you’ve been diagnosed with stage 0 through stage 3 breast cancer, you’re not alone. You don’t have to navigate this journey by yourself. Our weekly support group is a welcoming place to share your experiences, ask questions, and connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through.
We meet every Monday from 7–8 p.m. Central Time via Zoom, and the group is led by two breast cancer survivors who bring understanding, encouragement, and hope to every session. Providers from the Integrated Mayo Clinic Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Care Teams regularly join to offer support, share research updates, and provide their expertise on the latest in breast cancer care.

This virtual support group meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 7–8 p.m. Central Time and is led by breast cancer survivors who offer understanding, encouragement, and hope. Having a breast cancer mentor is a fantastic thing for people who need to have someone to talk with that is not a family member about the cancer that has come back or is a new diagnosis. I have benefited from having a mentor who has been through my situation. She keeps in contact with me and gives me the much needed support. I look forward to talking to and text messages from her periodically. What a wonderful caring person she is.
I started my journey with my metastatic breast cancer diagnosis in August 2021. I felt surprised, disappointed and angry; so many feelings at once. I was beyond eager to join this MBC support group. Sharing with this group brings me comfort, support, camaraderie, and zoom friends. Through this group I gain knowledge. This group provides a place for us to share our experiences and feelings and I also learn from the healthcare providers that attend as guests. It is a virtual place to feel safe, accepted, open, validated and loved. .
This support group was life-saving for me. In the early days of being diagnosed, it meant so much to me to talk to those who truly understood. Strangers who supported and loved me who then turned into friends. Surgery and radiation removed my cancer, but it was this support group and the beautiful women in it who held my hand and my heart as I went through the most difficult year of my life. They continue to be a source of support, knowledge and a safe space to feel seen and understood. Because I know this group of incredible women exists, I feel less alone on this cancer journey.
Being heard, without needing to minimize those hard to hear realities and fears, is a powerful experience. The weekly virtual non metastatic breast cancer support group provides a unique space where survivors BEAR WITNESS to the personal trauma unleashed with a breast cancer diagnosis.
